The SHGSR's impressive collection includes numerous birth, baptismal, marriage and burial records from across Canada and the Northeastern United States, as well as several esteemed genealogical encyclopedias! Our collection further includes indexes to the parish and mission registers of the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan, over 14,000 familial lineage records, family histories, newspapers clipping files and obituaries can be consulted to trace the history of a community, family or individual. Members also have access to various electronic sources such as Généalogie Québec and Ancestry when they visit the Documentation Centre.
